Full plot details haven’t been revealed but we understand it follows the birth of the nightclub scene in London’s Soho. The series will mix elements of the fact-based research of Kohn’s book with fictional characters and storylines, exploring all aspects of the criminal world of Soho in the early 20th Century. We hear it’s partly based on the true story of conservative, god-fearing 42-year old single mother Kate Meyrick, who builds a nightclub empire and criminal family enterprise and becomes the most dangerous woman in London as well as a competitor to Brilliant Chang, the baron of Soho’s gritty underworld. Her nightclubs are fuelled by drugs and alcohol that allow for a generation of World War I veterans and survivors to forget their trauma and break through the rigid patriarchal structures of the era to allow women to dance, have sex and do drugs with whoever they want.

The 16 years old amateur photographer Charles accidentally takes a photo of Laura - and falls in love with her, when he develops the picture. He finds out that she works as singer in a bar, but is about to be thrown out. Although rejected at first by the 23 years old, he wants to help her and starts an ad campaign behind her back... with unexpected results. 　　—Tom Zoerner

A girl waits for her boyfriend, a worker in the harbour. In the locker room a worker confides in his colleague about his unhappy marriage. But there's more to their relationship than advice giving. At the end of his shift a young man takes a shower in the washroom of the port and hurries to meet his girlfriend in the cantine. It's his last day on the job. One moment they seem hopeful and in love, the next she’s being ghosted. Baffled, she goes looking for him in the port. Violetta, the owner of the cantine is a hard worker nostalgic of a life she never had. She employs her niece, a radical pacifist whose life strategy is to lay low. Intersecting, their stories create a parallax view of heartbreak and desire, disappointment and hope.

出身于韩国传统乐器世家的李奎媛（朴信惠 饰）在爷爷的熏陶和有意培养下，在学会写字前就开始学习韩国传统乐器——伽倻琴。从小奎媛就认为传统音乐才是真正的音乐。因为一次旅行，奎媛邂逅了李绅（郑容和 饰）。而这次邂逅改变了奎媛，也改变了她对于音乐的认识。李绅的爸爸是个吉他高手，而李绅则自小学习吉他，钟爱摇滚乐，认为传统音乐像催眠曲。 　　李绅和奎媛自第一次相遇后，接下来就频繁的相遇。二人居然还是同所艺术学校的学生。起初奎媛对学摇滚性格傲慢的李绅很是反感，但因一次意外不得不和李绅所在的乐队合作。随着二人的多次相处，传统音乐和摇滚乐这两种不同的音乐日渐找到了融入彼此的方式。而李绅和奎媛的校园恋爱也奏出了甜蜜的乐章。
